neat14; ‘Nottingham’s world class arts festival’ was a cross-cultural 10 day series of events across Nottingham which took place in May 2014, covering theatre, cinema, art, dance, performance, music and literature. The festival guide, produced in collaboration with studio neighbours Sunday Studio Design for Shipshape Marketing, is a 44 page A5 booklet detailing all the events with info on venues, booking and getting around. With the festival organisers keen to create something inclusive in order to encourage attendance and participation from sections of society who would normally give an arts festival a miss, the resulting festival guide and accompanying poster campaign focused on bright, fun imagery with clear typography and a unifying visual style throughout.
